• The School endeavours to maintain a well-equipped library, reading room and an audio-video programme room. It has a large collection of books and reference books, including a number of sets of encyclopedias, audio and video cassettes of educational value in large number. The reading room has many periodicals in all the languages too. These are to be made the best use of by students and teachers as well.
• One book will be issued to students at a time on producing the library.
• library identity card. This book can be kept for one week, at the end of which they are to be promptly returned. They can also be renewed for another week.
• Library books are to be taken care of and used properly. Writing, marking or underlining in the library books is absolutely forbidden. While taking a new book out, any defect or damage of it must be brought to the notice of the librarian and class teacher immediately. Any damage or loss of the book will be made good. Books lost will have to be replaced or paid for twice the price. Any damage caused to the school property should also be made good.
• Reference books, magazines, periodicals, news, papers etc.., are issued, but not to be taken home.
• Perfect silence is to be observed in the library.
