Mount Carmel School is an unaided Christian minority school under the management of Amal Jyothi Charitable Society, a registered body, run by the C.M.C sisters (Congregation of Mother of Carmel) founded in 1866 by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara and Fr.Leopold Beccaro. The Congregation has been rendering yeoman service in the field of education all over the world. Physical development, intellectual awakening, spiritual formation and social commitment are the important aspects of our educational apostolate.

The congregation considers education as an effective agent in promoting the integral formation of the child and there by shape a better human society. The school started in the year 2017 in the premises of St. Ann’s School and follows the CBSE syllabus.

Admission is open to children of all caste and creed. 2018 June 11th shifted to the new Mt. Carmel Convent School Building.
